'He was everywhere' – Farrell lauds Morgan display in Reds victory
The British and Irish Lions continued to build towards their Tests against Australia with a comfortable win over the Queensland Reds.
British and Irish Lions head coach Andy Farrell quipped that Jac Morgan could "play wherever he wants" after his stunning display against the Queensland Reds.
The Lions beat the Reds 52-12 after a dominant second-half display, which saw the visitors score 31 points without reply on Wednesday.
Morgan, who is now the only Welsh player in the squad after Tomos Williams' injury against Western Force, impressed for the Lions, along with captain Maro Itoje.
The 25-year-old was named the Player of the Match after making 49 metres, 21 tackles, three turnovers and nine carries during the contest.
"If he plays like he did today, he can play wherever he wants," Farrell said of Morgan. "He was everywhere. His offloading game was great, he was aggressive with his hitting.
"He'll be delighted. The competition has started and there are reactions all over the place to come."
And in what was a physical game against the Reds, Morgan was also pleased with how the team responded to that test.
"It was a good game. It was a very physical game, especially the first half. It was a tough match so it was good to get the win,” Morgan told Sky Sports.
"It was a full team performance. We spoke about playing for 80 minutes and that is what we did. We kept on building and we will keep on building over the next couple of weeks.
"We will look at the game and then ahead to Sydney."

Itoje also provided a stellar performance, making 17 tackles, 10 carries and winning nine lineouts.
Despite spotting a few areas to improve upon, the Lions captain is relishing the challenge of his new role.
"You learn more in games and it's probably a bit of a blessing in disguise that we have so many games in quick succession," Itoje said.
"The mantra today was just to be better and we were.
"We need to be sharper and more accurate. We broke the line loads of times but we weren't always accurate enough to score.
"I'm loving being a part of the team, I'm enjoying the challenge and spending time with all these great players. Long may it continue."
The Lions are next in action on July 5 when they take on the NSW Waratahs in Sydney.
