Woods and son Charlie narrowly miss out on PNC Championship win after playoff
Team Woods came close to winning the PNC Championship for the first time, but just fell short to Team Langer in the playoff.
Tiger Woods and his son Charlie narrowly missed out on a first PNC Championship triumph after losing a play-off to Bernhard and Jason Langer in Orlando.
Team Langer retained their title, earning their sixth overall, as Bernhard holed an eagle putt on the first extra hole after the two teams had finished on 28 under.
Team Woods had a 20-yard eagle putt attempt to level again, but neither Tiger nor Charlie could convert.
Both teams had carded 59 in the opening round, before following it up with a 15-under 57 on Sunday, with Charlie Woods hitting his first career hole-in-one on the par-three fourth in the process.
Team Woods are yet to win the tournament, with this their fifth appearance at the PNC Championship. It is the second time they have finished as runners-up, last doing so in 2021.
59-57 to tie the @PNCChampionship scoring record.

Despite their defeat, the pair remained upbeat, with Tiger, who played his first tournament since undergoing back surgery in September, saying: "I'm just super happy for Charlie, no one made a mistake today, and we had to earn it.
"I'm nowhere near in competitive shape, but we made a great team and that's the whole joy of it."
Charlie added: "It was awesome, it's the most fun I've ever had and on top of that I made an ace, I can't top that."
