Tyson Fury insists he has not given his first-ever professional defeat, at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk in May, much thought as the pair prepare for their rematch this weekend.

Fury had been undefeated as a boxer for 17 years prior to that fight, since losing an amateur bout to Maksim Babanin in 2007.

But the Gypsy King says he is unfazed by the past and is only focused on reclaiming his WBC Heavyweight title on Saturday.

He told Sky Sports: "I haven't had any thoughts about it really. It hasn't affected me.

"I haven't done anything different to what I would have done had I got the decision.

"I've not really thought about it to be fair. I don't focus on the past, I just concentrate on the day in hand."

Fury does accept that inflicting revenge on his opponent is a source of motivation, however, ahead of the fight in Riyadh.

He said: "Sometimes I think about someone having got a decision over me and I want to reverse that in the rematch.

"Obviously I'm a competitor, I'm competitive. So I do think like that."
