Nuggets, Braun agree to five-year extension
Denver lock up Christian Braun on a $125million deal through 2030-31 following a breakout season from the 2022 first-round draft pick.
The Denver Nuggets and fourth-year guard Christian Braun have agreed to terms on a five-year, $125million contract extension through the 2030-31 season.
Selected with the 21st overall pick by Denver in the 2022 NBA Draft, Braun only started 10 times in 158 games over his first two seasons before making 77 starts in 79 contests in 2024-25.
He averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists last season while finishing eighth in the NBA with a 58.0 field goal percentage.
Braun improved his scoring average from 2023-24 by 8.1 points, the third-highest increase in the league behind fellow guards Coby White (plus-9.4) of the Chicago Bulls and Dyson Daniels (plus-8.3) of the Atlanta Hawks.
