The inaugural Legends Team Cup draft saw captains Mark Philippoussis, Carlos Moya and James Blake select their star-studded line-ups.

Overseen by patron Bjorn Borg, the draft took place behind closed doors, with the order decided by a random draw.

Philippoussis used the maiden Legends Team Cup draft pick to select Juan Carlos Ferrero, with Moya choosing former US Open champion Dominic Thiem and Blake picking Jo-Wilfred Tsonga.

The captains then alternated in selecting from the remaining 12 players.

Marcos Baghdatis, Radek Stepanek, Bob Bryan and Tommy Robredo joined Ferrero on Team Philippoussis.

Moya went ahead and picked Diego Schwartzman, Fernando Verdasco, Mike Bryan, Philipp Kohlschreiber, while Blake selected Tommy Haas, Feliciano Lopez, Sam Querrey and David Ferrer.

There is a $12million prize pot and the Bjorn Borg Trophy at stake for each of the teams, with the Legends Team Cup touring six cities across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

Borg, the Legends Team Cup Grand Master of Tennis, said: "We have three great groups. I'm really looking forward to seeing these guys play, and it's going to be great tennis, believe me.

"The players are practicing hard, and when they walk out on that particular tennis court, they won't want to lose."

The opening event of the Legends Team Cup will take place on the Caribbean Island of Saint Barthelemy from June 12-14, 2025, with Team Blake taking on Team Philippoussis.

Across the series, captains Moya, Blake and Philippoussis will each strategically select their matchups ahead of each event.
