With the dust still settling over DreamLeague Season 28, where Tundra Esports came out on top, we already have another big Dota 2 esports event starting soon. I am, of course, talking about the highly-anticipated PGL Wallachia Season 7. Here's what Dota 2 esports fans must know.
PGL Wallachia Season 7 detailsFrom 7 to 15 March 2026, at the PGL Studio venue in Bucharest, Romania, 16 of the best Dota 2 esports teams will compete live on LAN. There's a cool $1 million prize pool (roughly R16 million) on the line, as PGL Wallachia Season 7 promises heaps of top-tier action.
The action begins with the Group Stage, which features a modified 16-team Swiss-System format with a single group. All matches are best-of-three. The top eight advance to the Playoffs Stage, while the rest are eliminated.
In the Playoffs Stage, the remaining eight teams will fight in a double-elimination bracket, where the Grand Final is best-of-five, and all other matches are best-of-three..
