In the capital of Hungary, we've seen some heart-pounding Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports action thus far, as the best teams are fighting in the crowning event of the year.

After three stages of competition in front of a crowd on LAN at the MTK Sportpark, the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 has delivered on all fronts. This coming weekend, it's time for the thrilling conclusion, with the Playoffs Stage bracket and matchups now set.

At the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 thus far, teams have gone through three Swiss System stages, whittling the field from 32 to just eight. These eight teams will now compete at the MVM Dome in Budapest, Hungary, fighting for their piece of the $1,250,000 pie. That's R21.5 million at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate.

With many Pick'Ems ruined and Diamond Coins but a pipedream for a plethora of Viewer Pass owners (ours included), it's time for the single-elimination Playoffs bracket this weekend, from 11 to 14 December 2025.

• Team Spirit vs. Team Falcons (QF1) - Starts at 18:00 on 11 December.
• The MongolZ vs. Team Vitality (QF2) - Starts at 21:00 on 11 December.
• MOUZ vs. FaZe Clan (QF3) - Starts at 18:00 on 12 December.
• FURIA vs. NAVI (QF4) - Starts at 21:00 on 12 December.
• Semifinals 1 (winners of QF1 and QF2) - Starts at 18:00 on 13 December.
• Semifinals 2 (winners of QF3 and QF4) - Starts at 21:00 on 13 December.
• Grand Final - Starts at 19:00 on 14 December.

For CET time, subtract one hour from the starting times listed above.

Keep in mind that the Grand Final, for the first time in Major Championship history, is best-of-five instead of best-of-three.
