T1 had a rough start to the VCT Masters Bangkok Playoffs Stage, losing to EDward Gaming in the first round of the Upper Bracket. However, the side made a massive comeback in the Lower Bracket. With an impressive Lower Bracket run, T1 reverse-swept Team Vitality with a 2-1, then took revenge on EDward Gaming in the Lower Bracket Final with a convincing 3-1 to make it to the Grand Final.

In the Grand Final of VCT Masters Bangkok 2025, G2 Esports kicked off proceedings with a solid win on Lotus, but T1 instantly responded on Haven. G2 Esports then pulled ahead for a 2-1 lead after a close game on Abyss.

On the brink of suffering defeat, T1 bounced back in style, winning both Split and Pearl with both maps going into overtime, to secure a 3-2 victory and claim the VCT Masters Bangkok 2025 trophy.

Congratulations to T1 for winning the first VCT Masters event of 2025, and the lion's share of the prize pool at $250,000. T1's South Korean superstar, Kim "Meteor" Tae-oh, won the MVP award.
