In the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, sparks flew when the best Valorant esports teams clashed during the VCT 2025 EMEA Kickoff event. In case you missed the action, here's how things went down.

From 15 January to 9 February 2025, the best 12 teams from the EMEA region competed in a double-elimination bracket at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany. There were only two (2) spots up for grabs at Masters Bangkok, so everything was on the line for the teams competing.

Team Vitality took center stage early on, beating Karmine Corp 2-1, FUT Esports 2-0, and Team Heretics with another 2-0 to make it to the grand finale.

In their opening match, Team Liquid had to reverse-sweep KOI for a 2-1 win before getting knocked down to the lower bracket 2-0 by FUT Esports. The squad recovered nicely, however, pulling off a huge lower-bracket run.

Team Liquid beat Apeks 2-1, GIANTX 2-0, and BBL Esports 2-1, then took revenge on FUT Esports with a narrow 2-1 victory and then secured a Masters Bangkok spot by beating Team Heretics in a convincing 3-0.

In the best-of-five grand finale at VCT 2025 EMEA Kickoff, Team Liquid got off to a strong start, winning the first two maps. However, Team Vitality let their big match temperament shine through, winning three in a row for a huge reverse sweep with a final score of 3-2.

• 5th & 6th place - BBL Esports and Fnatic.
• 7th & 8th place - Gentle Mates and GIANTX.
• 9th to 12th place - NAVI, Karmine Corp, KOI and Apeks.
