It's a calendar packed full of action for top tier Valorant esports teams and their passionate fans. The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) China Stage 1 event already kicked off last week, and now it's for the Americas event, featuring the best teams from North and South America, to begin. Let's jump into the details.

The VCT 2025 Americas Stage 1 event runs for well over a month, with a tonne of action to look forward to. Specifically, the tournament begins this week, Friday, 21 March 2025, and will run until 4 May 2025. It takes place at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, United States, with the best casters and presenters in the region leading fans through all the matches.

Teams are competing for just a few spots at the next big event: VCT Masters Toronto.  There are 12 teams in attendance, and all of them begin in the Group Stage. The Group Stage features two Round Robin groups of six teams each, where all matches are best-of-three. The top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage, with positions based on their placement in the Group Stage.

From 24 April to 4 May 2025, the final eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket where most matches are best-of-three, excluding the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are both best-of-five.
