Attention, Rocket League esports fans! It's that time of the year again, when the best in the world compete to become the world champions. Yes, the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025 is coming to a thrilling conclusion this week, so strap in and let's get to the most important details.

From 10 to 14 September 2025, the 20 best Rocket League teams from across the globe, including FUT Esports (a team filled with Spanish players representing the Sub-Saharan Africa region), are competing to see who's the best in the business.

Organized by BLAST.tv and Epic Games, the teams are competing on LAN at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines, France. There's a huge $1,2 million prize pool on the line. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that's over R21 million.

The action begins with the Play-In stage on 10 September, where all matches are best-of-five. Eight teams compete for only four spots in the Group Stage, while the rest are sent packing.
