The Exciting, world-class annual Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports event from tournament organizer PGL came to a thrilling conclusion at the BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

All 16 teams fought tooth and nail in the Group Stage for only eight spots in the Playoffs Stage, with some surprisingly early exits from the likes of G2 Esports and FaZe Clan. In case you couldn't watch the action live, or just want to catch up, here's how things went down!

In the single-elimination Playoffs Stage, Team Vitality, the #1 squad in the world, took care of business with the utmost precisely, beating Aurora Gaming 2-0, and The MongolZ 2-0, to claim a spot in the Grand Final.

On the other side of the bracket, it was PARIVISION who impressed, eliminating Team Falcons in a close 2-1 affair, and beating MOUZ 2-0 for a spot in the Grand Final of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026.

Team Vitality didn't pull any punches in the best-of-five Grand Final, first claiming Overpass in a surprisingly close 13-10. Team Vitality dominated PARIVISION on their map pick of Dust2 with a score of 13-4 to put themselves on a series point.

On Inferno, PARIVISION came alive, showcasing their firepower and teamwork, pushing Team Vitality into overtime. However, Team Vitality secured the win 16-13. With the close win on Inferno, Team Vitality beats PARIVISION in a clean 3-0 sweep to lift the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 trophy.

Congratulations go out to Team Vitality for another dominating performance, and to PARIVISION for putting up a solid fight against the best team in the world. Team Vitality's AWP superstar, the Chosen One, aka Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut, picked up his 30th MVP award at big events, with a whopping 1.39 rating.
