With the APAC and American Regional Major Rankings (RMR) events now complete, it's time for the biggest  Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports region in the world to get going, starting with the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 European A RMR event. Here's what you need to know.

The format is a 16-team Swiss System. Elimination and advancement matches are best-of-three, and the rest of the matches are best-of-one, leaving little room for error. This is a LAN event without any crowd, with teams competing in Shanghai, China.

Check out the list of teams qualified for the Perfect World Shanghai Major European A RMR event below. The top seven here have qualified via Valve's RMR leaderboard, while the rest made their way through the qualifiers.

The top seven teams qualify for the main event of the Shanghai Major starting on 30 November 2024, while the rest are eliminated, so it's really do or die for all the contestants.

For those who want to watch all the action, we've got some good news. You can watch the European A RMR event matches via the PGL Twitch channel. Since the tournament takes place in China, the start times of matches are pretty good for South Africa, ranging from 10:00 to 13:00 start times each day.
