Local tournament organizer Mettlestate has another bunch of one-day Cash Cups for South African gamers of all skill levels to compete in. As is tradition around these parts, let's dive straight into the most important Mettlestate Cash Cup details so you don't miss out.

Cash Cups from Mettlestate this week

Mettlestate is upping its game, with more Cash Cups than the previous few weeks, thanks to sponsors such as PCBuilder, ASUS, and MetroFibre. These tournaments take place on active days, namely Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. By our count, there are nine (9) Cash Cups to enter this week, so let's dive in.

  • Chess Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Monday, 6 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • Clash Royale Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Monday, 6 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • TeamFight Tactics Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • Fortnite Cup - Duos battle royale tournament starting on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • Tekken 8 Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • EA FC 25 Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • Street Fighter 6 Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Thursday, 9 October 2025, at 19:30.
  • Clash of Clans Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at 14:00.
  • eFootball Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at 14:00.

Please note: The information about the Cash Cups above has been sourced from the Mettlestate event page. All times in the list below are in SAST. The tournament organizer may add more events at short notice, so check their page periodically for updates.

As always, registration for these Mettlestate Cash Cups close about two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter, and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.​

Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place: R500 (R1,000 with VIP)​
  • 2nd place: R300 (R600 with VIP)​
  • 3rd place: R200 (R400 with VIP)​
