With the year winding down, this will be the last time in 2025 that we report on the weekly Cash Cups from South African tournament organizer Mettlestate. The tournament organizer's final Cash Cups take place on 20 December, and start back up again on 8 January 2026. In the week of 15 to 21 December 2025, on active days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday), there are a total of 10 Cash Cups from Mettlestate to enjoy. The nice batch of offerings is thanks to sponsors such as PCBuilder and Mentos.

Registration for these Mettlestate Cash Cups close about two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter, and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.​
