South African tournament organizer Mettlestate keeps on delivering fantastic, one-day tournaments for local gamers to compete in each week, and this week is no different. As is tradition, let's take a look at the new Mettlestate Cash Cup offerings.

By our count, there are five (5) new Cash Cups from Mettlestate for local gamers to sink their teeth into this week.

• COD Mobile Cup - 5v5 tournament starting on Monday, 4 May 2026, at 19:30.
• VALORANT Cup - 2v2 tournament starting on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, at 19:30.
• EA FC Mobile Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at 19:30.
• PUBG Mobile Cup - Quads battle royale tournament starting on Thursday, 7 May 2026, at 19:30.
• Tekken 8 Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Saturday, 9 May 2026, at 14:00.

As always, registration for these Mettlestate Cash Cups closes about one to two hours before they begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter, and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.​
