Another week means another batch of one-day Cash Cups that local gamers can compete in, straight from South African tournament organizer Mettlestate. As has become tradition around these parts of the internet, let's just jump straight in and discuss the most important details.

There are a total of five (5) Cash Cups from Mettlestate taking place this week.  Check out the important details of these tournaments below, including the games, registration links, start date/time (in SAST), and tournament format.

• TeamFight Tactics Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Monday, 16 March 2026, at 19:30.
• Street Fighter 6 Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, at 19:30.
• Chess Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, at 19:30.
• Fortnite Cup - Duos battle royale tournament starting on Thursday, 19 March 2026, at 19:30.
• Rocket League Cup - 2v2 tournament starting on Saturday, 21 March 2026, at 14:00.

Please note: The information about the Cash Cups above has been sourced from the Mettlestate event page. All times in the list below are in SAST. The tournament organizer may add more events at short notice, so check their page periodically for updates.

As always, registration for these tournaments closes about one to two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter, and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.​

• 1st place: R500 (R1,000 with VIP)​
• 2nd place: R300 (R600 with VIP)​
• 3rd place: R200 (R400 with VIP)​
