The Incredible Gaming League presented by HP and AMD for League of Legends has been announced. The league - hosted by South African tournament operator Mettlestate - features a R10,000 cash prize pool, and arrives just as the highly anticipated Netflix series Arcane is set to release.

Registration for the League of Legends is now open and free to all teams in Sub-Saharan Africa. According to the rules listed, teams may have 'two International Player per team, with only one International in the starting five per game.'

The Incredible Gaming League for League of Legends will run over the following dates. Registrations are closing soon, so we would suggest grabbing your team and registering before it's too late.

• Registrations: 31 October - 10 November
• Group Stages: 11 November - 1 December
• Playoffs: 2 December - 8 December
• Grand Final: 14 December

Up for grabs is a total of R10,000 cash which will be split between the top three teams as follows:

• 1st Place: R5,000
• 2nd Place: R3,000
• 3rd Place: R2,000

There is no bonus prize pool listed for players with Mettlestate VIP status.
