The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2026 Versus event was a joy to watch, as the best League of Legends (LoL) teams from the region competed for only one spot at First Stand. In case you missed it, here's how things went down.

It was awesome to watch the LEC 2026 Versus unfold. Teams first competed at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany, and then for the final portion of the Playoffs Stage, at the Olimpic Arena in Badalona, Spain.

The regular season saw Karmine Corp at the top with an 8-3 score. NAVI and Team Vitality boasted 7-4 records, while G2 Esports scraped by at 6-5.

In the Playoffs Stage, Karmine Corp took full advantage of their momentum from the regular season. Karmine Corp easily beat GIANTX 2-0. However, G2 Esports smashed them down to the Lower Bracket with a 2-0.

In the Lower Bracket, Karmine Corp bounced back, beating Team Vitality with a 2-1 reverse sweep, then GIANTX 3-0, and Movistar KOI 3-2 (another comeback) to secure a spot in the Grand Final of LEC 2026 Versus.

G2 Esports first took out Team Heretics 2-0 before beating Karmine Corp 2-0. The squad then smashed Movistar KOI 3-0 for a spot in the Grand Final. At the LEC 2026 Versus Grand Final, it was G2 Esports who took an early 2-0 lead. While Karmine Corp managed to tie things up 2-2, G2 Esports prevailed.

Congratulations go out to G2 Esports for winning LEC 2026 Versus. They'll go on to represent the EMEA region at First Stand later in March. Rasmus "Caps" Winther was awarded the Grand Final MVP.
