Get ready for another huge Dota 2 esports event, this time an online affair in the form of DreamLeague Season 25. The tournament features some of the best teams in the world competing for a huge prize pool. So you don't miss out on any of the action, we've got you covered with a viewer's guide to DreamLeague Season 25.

From 16 February to 2 March 2025, these teams will compete in DreamLeague Season 25 for their share of the massive $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R18.5 million. $750,000 of that goes to players and $250,000 to the esports organizations.

There are 16 teams competing, starting in the first Group Stage from 16 to 19 February, where there are two single-round robin groups of eight teams each. The top four teams from each group advance to the Group Stage 2, which runs from 21 to 27 February 2025. The second Group Stage also features a single round-robin format and the remaining eight teams, where all matches are best-of-three. Only the top two teams advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, then 3rd and 4th-placed teams advance to the lower bracket, and the remaining four are eliminated.

The DreamLeague Season 25 playoffs will take place on 1 and 2 March 2025. It's a double-elimination bracket, where the grand finale is best-of-five, and the rest of the matches are best-of-three.
