Another big League of Legends (LoL) regional league to finish up as we get ready for First Stand is the LoL Championship Pacific (LCP) 2026 Split 1. After six weeks of fighting on Summoner's Rift, we now know which team will represent the LCP at First Stand later in March. Here's what you need to know.

Secret Whales wins LCP 2026 Split 1

Eight teams from the Pacific region competed for one singular spot at First Stand, set to take place from 16 to 22 March 2026. The LCP 2026 Split 1 took place on LAN in Taipei, Taiwan, and was hosted by developer Riot Games.

In the regular season, Secret Whales and Deep Cross Gaming topped the leaderboard, both with 6-1 scores. However, Deep Cross Gaming was the one to deliver defeat to Secret Whales, setting up a nice storyline in the process.

When it came time for the Playoffs Stage of LCP 2026 Split 1, it was Secret Whales who first took out SoftBank HAWKS with a 3-1 score, and then took revenge on Deep Cross Gaming with a 3-2 win in the Upper Bracket Final.

In the Lower Bracket Final, Deep Cross Gaming pulled off an incredible reverse-sweep comeback against SoftBank HAWKS to win 3-2, making their way into the Grand Final. In the Grand Final of LCP 2026 Split 1, Secret Whales didn't give Deep Cross Gaming an inch, sweeping their opponents 3-0 to win the entire tournament.

19-year-old Trần "Dire" Duy Đức was at the core of Secret Whales' success, having won four MVPs during the regular season and Playoffs Stage.
