Attention, Battle Royale esports fans! You won't want to miss the massive Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) Global Championship 2025 event this weekend. In case you haven't stayed in the loop, here's what you need to know about the crowning tournament.
FNCS Global Championship detailsHosted by BLAST.tv and Epic Games, at the LDLC Arena venue in Lyon-Décines, France, the 33 best Fortnite Trios from across the globe are competing this week.
The FNCS Global Championship takes place across two days of competition, Saturday and Sunday (6 to 7 September), where teams are duking it out for their share of the $2 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that's roughly R35.5 million!

These Trios will all compete in 12 games spread over the two days, with six games taking place each day. The scoring is based on placement and elimination.
