Over the past weekend at DreamHack Birmingham, attendees (and those watching from home) got to experience some top-tier Dota 2 esports action. In case you couldn't watch ESL One Birmingham 2026 unfold live, here's what went down.

Tundra Esports is back on top of the Dota 2 esports scene following their win at ESL One Birmingham 2026, having now won two S-Tier tournaments thus far this year.

Starting in Group A, Tundra finished second, with a 4-3-0 record, just behind Team Yandex, which posted a 5-2-0 record. When it came time for the Playoffs Stage, it was Tundra Esports who dominated the double-elimination bracket with style.

Tundra Esports first took out Aurora Gaming 2-1, and then swept Team Yandex 2-0 to make it to the Grand Final. After falling to Tundra Esports, Team Yandex took out Chinese powerhouse Xtreme Gaming with a 2-1 win for a spot in the Grand Final.

In the BO5 Grand Final, Team Yandex drew first blood. However, Tundra Esports stabilized with exceptional prowess to win the next three games in a row, ending the series 3-1 and thereby lifting the ESL One Birmingham 2026 trophy. Congratulations!
