Conte hits out at press for 'twisting' his Italy job comments
Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has hit out at the media for "twisting" his comments surrounding the vacant Italy job.
Antonio Conte reiterated his commitment to Napoli as he hit out at speculation linking him with taking charge of Italy.
The Azzurri will require a new coach after Gennaro Gattuso's departure in the wake of their failure to qualify for the World Cup.
Last week, Conte, who coached Italy between 2014 and 2016, seemed to suggest he would be open to returning to oversee the national team.
Yet after Napoli's 1-1 draw with Parma on Sunday, Conte lashed out at the media, accusing reporters of "twisting" his comments.

"I did not say I was available for anything," Conte told Rai Radio 1, as reported by Football Italia.
"I have another year on my contract with Napoli, then at the end of the season I will speak to the president.
"I would urge you to interpret my words correctly, because if they are going to be twisted, then I won't speak at all anymore."
Napoli sit second in Serie A, but are nine points adrift of leaders Inter.
