Brown brought into Lions squad as injury cover
Gregor Brown is set to become the 45th member of this year's British and Irish Lions tour after receiving his first call-up.
The British and Irish Lions have called up Scotland back row Gregor Brown as injury cover for Joe McCarthy.
The Irish lock was taken off with a foot problem early in the second half of the Lions' 27-19 victory over Australia on Saturday.
Andy Farrell is hopeful that he took McCarthy off the field in time to avoid aggravating the issue further after confirming it was plantar fasciitis.
As such, Brown became the 45th player called up to the 2025 Lions squad, which was initially a party of 38.

He is the fourth player called up from the Scotland squad, which has just completed a tour of the Pacific, along with Darcy Graham, Rory Sutherland and Ewan Ashman, who were all added earlier this week.
Brown, Sutherland and Ashman all featured in Scotland's win over Samoa on Friday, and the quartet are all expected to join up with the Lions on Sunday to provide cover for their final midweek match against a First Nations & Pasifika XV in Melbourne on Tuesday.
Farrell could also be boosted by the returns of Blair Kinghorn, suffering with a knee injury, and Garry Ringrose, who has a concussion, for Tuesday's match.
"Blair's doing well doing pretty well, so we'll see," Farrell said. "And Garry's going well. So hopefully they carry on that trajectory and could be available for Tuesday."
