Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White believes their win over the Atlanta Dream on Thursday showed the strength of the depth in her squad.

Having lost the first game 91-90 at Indiana on Tuesday, the Fever bounced back with an 81-76 victory in the reverse, despite Caitlin Clark's struggles.

Clark missed each of her five 3-pointers, ending a streak of 140 games, including the WNBA regular season and playoffs and the bulk of her college career at Iowa, with at least one 3.

The last time she failed to get one was on January 13, 2022, when she went 0-for-6 against Purdue during her sophomore season.

She eventually finished with 11 points and six assists, with Natasha Howard leading the team with 26 points as they collected their first road win of the season.

"Big plays at key moments," White told her players in a postgame locker-room address.

"Everybody is engaged every time out. That is what it's going to take. This is a display of the depth that we have.

"If it's not your night, someone else is going to step up… When we get contributions like this on both ends from everybody, we're going to find ourselves in the win column."

The Fever currently have a 2-1 record as they sit second in the Eastern Conference, with a trip to the New York Liberty next up.
