For the first time since the end of January, Stephen Curry will suit up for the Golden State Warriors.

Curry is slated to return Sunday against the visiting Houston Rockets after missing 27 games for the Warriors because of a right knee injury.

The two-time league MVP has scrimmaged multiple times in the last week and is considered good to go for a Golden State team that has five games remaining in the regular season.

Curry, 38, last played Jan. 30, and the Warriors struggled mightily without their 12-time All-Star, going 9-18 since his injury. By comparison, they are 23-16 in games he plays.

With the significant injury to Curry, as well as Jimmy Butler (torn ACL), Golden State (36-41) is in 10th place in the Western Conference, and would have to win back-to-back games in the Play-In Tournament to earn the eighth and final play-off spot.

Curry, who is in his 17th NBA season, leads the Warriors in scoring at 27.2 points per game and is averaging 4.5 made 3-pointers per game. If he had met the NBA requirements for games played, his 3-pointers made per game average would lead the league.
