'It's just insane' – Hull revels after Fever reach first semifinal in 10 years
The Indiana Fever have progressed to the WNBA playoff semifinals for the first time in a decade, with the Las Vegas Aces awaiting them.
The Indiana Fever's Lexie Hull revelled in her team's "insane" achievement, as they booked their place in the WNBA playoff semifinals with a dramatic win over the Atlanta Dream.
The Fever are through to the semifinals for the first time since 2015, following a narrow 87-85 victory on Thursday that sealed the three-game series.
It went right down to the wire at Gateway Center Arena, where Indiana edged their noses ahead with just 7.4 seconds.
Indiana subsequently set up a best-of-five showdown with the Las Vegas Aces – the league's second seeds, who have won 18 of their last 19 games.
"We work so hard, and I'm just so proud of our group for staying with it," Hull said. "I mean, it's just insane that we're playing in the semifinals.

"We believed it, but there are so many people out there that didn't, and so we've got another series."
Natasha Howard was a second-year pro the last time Indiana made the semi-finals, and the 34-year-old is thrilled to be back there a decade on.
"I can't put it into words. I'm just speechless right now, just how we fought through this whole game," she added.
"I'm just so excited that we're back here and with this group of young women, and the job's not done yet."
